The Details...
Below are more details about the information we gather and how we use it. We will update this web page as our policies change or to answer common questions that may arise.

Email Newsletters

ACSA may, in the future, offer email newsletters on one of the pages of our site. To sign up to receive one of our newsletters, we ask only for your email address. We will use your email address only to send you the newsletter that you sign up for. We do not give out our newsletter subscriber lists to others. However, our newsletter will contain advertisements by various businesses. If you want to update your email address or stop receiving our newsletter, just contact us at or follow the procedures at the bottom of each email we send you.

Membership

When you sign up as a member of ACSA, we ask for certain information about you. At a minimum, we require your name and email address. The more information you volunteer, the more we can tailor the site to your interests. By becoming a member, you authorize us to send you email updates and information about ACSA.

Opt-Out

When you register as a new member and from time to time, we may offer you the ability to "opt-out" of some uses of your information. You may cancel your membership at any time by clicking on the "Cancel Membership" link found on your member profile page.

Cookies

The process that we use to provide information and to track use of our site involves a "cookie" (a file placed upon your computer). This cookie helps recognize you when you come back to our site. In order to implement new services, we may use other types of cookies as well. For example, for some services, we may use cookies to keep track of your actions with respect to such services.

Sites You Visit

As you access other sites through ACSA’s site, ACSA may store information about web sites visited and other information presented in your browser’s URL address line. ACSA will use this information to help us figure out what our users are most interested in and, in certain cases, the terms and conditions under which other web sites may be accessed from ACSA’s web site.

Service Providers

ACSA may share non-personal, aggregate, or summary, information regarding our users with affiliates, service providers or other third parties. This kind of information does not identify you individually. We contract with others to provide some services and benefits to ACSA and ACSA members and, in such cases, our member data is needed. We use our best efforts to only use member data as necessary and neither have nor claim any right to use personal information of our members for any other purpose. In addition, we will disclose members’ information to government authorities if required by law.

Our Affiliates and Other Sites

You should be aware that when you are on the ACSA site, you may be directed to other sites operated by others that are beyond our control. Some of these sites will have their own separate membership process and privacy policies. ACSA does not control sites that are operated by others and so cannot be responsible for the information practices of these sites. Other sites may set their own cookies, collect data or solicit personal information. Always be aware of where you end up. It is always a good idea to check the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of any site before offering any of you personal information.

Security

ACSA will use diligent efforts to protect the security and integrity of the information you provide to us once it is received on our systems. Unfortunately, when you submit information to ACSA over the Internet, the information may travel over many systems that are not under the control of ACSA. The Internet is not 100% secure and others may intercept the information that you are sending.
